Description
Not sure of the year as Dodge COEs looked pretty much the same throughout the 1940s, and a lot of them that are on the road today have been heavily customized, but I followed this beauty along the Flathead River on Montana Highway 200 till I could pass him and get far enough ahead to jump out of my car, camera in hand. Not the best picture, but what a beauty. (She wears local Sanders County license plates, so I hope to see her sometime soon in one of our local car shows, at which time I promise to get a much better shot.)

If those double bands on the hood sides, framing Dodge, are chrome pieces (plated gold, or brass by the owner), than it's a '46 or later. Pre-war versions had a single band.
